Mariana Bellese

Mariana is a native of Belém do Pará, but currently resides in Porto, Portugal. She is 30 years old and an architect and urban planner by training and a cook by love.

 

She participated in Scandinavia Backpacking Prime in 2019 by the North American school National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), where she learned skills in wilderness, leadership, risk management and nature studies. In addition, she also participated in voluntary projects in São Paulo and South Africa.

 

Mariana has also practiced - and still practices - outdoor activities in places like Patagonia and Alaska. She lived in Canada for 3 months taking an English course, and later took English courses in Malta and South Africa.

 

Passionate about nature, which influenced her in the choice of her postgraduate degrees, namely: Sustainable buildings and building rehabilitation. Mariana has always been attracted by the sea and whenever she can take some time to put her feet in the sand. She is a defender of the environment and protects the sustainable lifestyle.
